Figurehead Boat Co. was founded by Tom Holmes in 2020. After nearly a decade honing his trade as a marine engineer it was time for a new challenge in the form of starting his own business. We are a mobile marine engineering service catering to leisure and commercial inland waterways craft in the Midlands although we can always travel further afield if required. Our aim is to deliver the highest quality work and advice to ensure you have the most enjoyable and trouble free boating experience possible. Having spent many years designing and certifying new craft as well as repairing boats, we can often identify potential problems before they happen, and can ensure that any repairs or installations are to the latest Boat Safety Scheme or Recreational Craft Directive requirements. We never go for a hard sell and prefer that you walk (or rather sail!) away with the right advice to suit your needs rather than push for unnecessary work. Our level of knowledge enables us to give you the right information on the pros and cons of almost any job.
